Sell or Trade
We have the best wholesalers and dealers willing to pay top dollar for your vehicle. Tell us more information and we’ll provide you with a free appraisal. (for most accurate results, please upload pictures of the exterior and interior all around)
How the appraisal works
Most people only get one number for their car: whatever the dealership offers against a new purchase. That number is usually the lowest one available, because the dealer knows you are already sitting in their showroom. We put your vehicle in front of multiple wholesalers and dealers who actually want it, then bring you the best offer that comes back.
1. Send us the details
Year, make, model, mileage, trim and a few photos. Tell us about any damage or mechanical issues up front so the number we quote is the number you get.
2. We shop your car
Your vehicle goes out to our network of wholesalers and dealers. Different buyers want different stock, and that competition is what moves the price up.
3. Get paid
Once you accept, we handle the paperwork, the lien payoff if there is one, and arrange collection. You do not need to drive anywhere.
Selling outright or trading in
Selling outright makes sense when you are done with the car and want the cash, or when you are buying privately and a trade-in has nothing to attach to. You get a clean number and a clean exit.
Trading in makes sense when you are getting your next vehicle through us anyway. Rolling the trade into the deal can also reduce the sales tax you pay on the new vehicle in New Jersey, since tax is calculated on the difference rather than the full price. We will run both scenarios so you can see which one leaves you better off.
What you will need
To complete a sale we need the title or, if there is still finance on the vehicle, the lender details and a payoff quote. Bring the registration, both sets of keys if you have them, and any service records. Negative equity is not a dealbreaker. It happens more often than people expect and it can usually be worked into your next deal.
Why wholesalers often pay more than a trade-in offer
A dealership taking your car in trade has to decide whether to retail it themselves or send it to auction, and they price for the worse of those two outcomes. A wholesaler who specialises in your exact vehicle already has a buyer in mind, so they can pay closer to what the car is really worth.
We are not buying your car ourselves, which means we have no incentive to talk the number down. We just find whoever values it highest.
Where we buy
We appraise and collect vehicles throughout New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Connecticut, and can arrange transport from further afield when the vehicle warrants it.
